Welcome to the world of ANAVAN, a unique 3 person getup that met up in Anchorage before transplanting to Los Angeles. While there they became a child of The Smell movement that has propelled tons of awesome and odd bands into the national spotlight including HEALTH, Abe Vigoda, and Captain Ahab. Combining crazy sounds with crazy fun ANAVAN's new album Cover Story is their best stuff yet and a testament that the weird people are the people that make the best music. The First Post... Always the Weirdest

I hesitate to say "Welcome to my blog!!" as I believe that this won't be read by too many people, but welcome anyway. I hope to bring an amazing array of music, movies, and art to your attention that most people find, well, odd to say the least. I hope that you'll come along on the journey with me and that we'll make some great, err, I mean weird discoveries...
